It's that time of year when the procrastinators come running because they realize they have to turn a photo in by Dec. 11 to the yearbook committee. They wait too long and I reap the benefits. haha

I'm having this incredible urge to find myself a full-blown adventure.
I want to drink like a fish with all the people that mean anything to me in this world and all the people that don't. I want to experience the entirety of this town I live in, all before the sun comes up. I want to dance in the yard and climb trees.. laugh until I feel like my face is stuck, get on a roof and scream at the fucking stars. I want to end up in a field somewhere with the people I love, playing tag or kickball or just drunkenly watching the sky. I want to talk to strangers on the street about nothing and everything. I want to say "fuck you" to every person who says beer pong is where it's at.
I want to take it all in and leave nothing behind... this is life we're experiencing. It doesn't stop and wait until the next good time comes around. It's passing us by every second, whether we're appreciating it or not. So, I tell you, appreciate it. Do something crazy... seek out your adventures. Sooner or later, you won't have that option.

attempting to edit.
So I just got Adobe Lightroom on my computer, finally, and I'm stoked. I haven't edited a photo for an entire year... I'm not exactly the photo-processing kind of girl, but I like having the opportunity to. So here were some attempts. Feedback is appreciated!
I'd love if you left a comment giving me some pros/cons. I love feedback! I'm learning so lay it on me.

jumpers and snake skin
Yesterday I picked up my camera for the first time in a long time for a purpose other than taking pictures of drunk people at my parties.
Chelsea and I went on a small outing just as the sun was going down (which is why I didn't get very many great shots), but it was perfect, nonetheless, because it reminded me that no matter the issues I'm facing at any given time in my life, my camera is my ticket to take me away from all of that. I'm a little disappointed that I even needed to be reminded.
So here are a few takes from our day out.

fibers
I put this blanket down for a long time, but it's that time of year again to pick it back up. I always start crocheting again when the weather gets cold. There is nothing better than putting a good movie in and curling up on the couch crocheting a blanket that keeps you warm while you're doing it.
